We commissioned a new machine in our production hall in Wysogotowo. It is Hardinge Elite 8/51.
Hardinge Elite 8/51 is a CNC lathe with C rotating axis and powered tools, controlled by Fanuc 21iT with Manual Guide i. The machine is equipped with pneumatic bar feeder: Hydrobar Multifeed.

Its capabilities and tooling allows us, without additional mounting on other machines, to produce fixtures which requires milling or drilling details outside of turning axis.
Fanuc 21iT system, well known from our other machines, proves to be very efficient. The system is intuitively operated, and even programming multi-axis interpolations without computer aided CAM software does not cause any major problems.
Sauter tool head is a solid construction which offers many possibilities for installing tools, in addition it is an identical construction as the one in Gildemeister MF Twin 65 machine. This machining centre consists of two Sauter tool heads, which allows using all VDI30 holders (in particular powered holders) on two machines and gives possibility for a wide spectrum of milling operations to be carried out on two machines.
